SUN ONE Webserver

During the online enrollment process you will be required to provide Entrust Certificate Services with a Certificate Signing Request (CSR).

This encrypted data is generated from the SUN ONE Web Server, and contains information about your company and web server.

Manage Your Server

  1. Log in to your iPlanet Administration Server.
  2. Click on the Servers tab and choose the Managed Servers link.
  3. From the Select A Server drop down box, select your server and choose Manage button.

Creating a Trust Database

  1. Click on the Security tab for you managed server.
  2. On the left hand side click on Create Database and type in a password and click OK button.
  3. Click on the button Apply Changes

Creating a CSR

  1. Under the Security Tab for your managed server, click on Request a Certificate
  2. Type in the CA email address of entrust@entrust.com
  3. The cryptographic module should be selected to Internal
  4. Fill in the rest of the required fields. See Important Note
  5. Click OK and submit your CSR to Entrust through our enrollment site at http://www.entrust.com/
