Microsoft Internet Information Server 6.0 for Windows 2003 Support

Open a web browser and go to the URL that appears in the confirmation email you received from Entrust. Your certificates are displayed. The Entrust SSL Certificate is in the section named "Entrust SSL Certificate".

Your certificate will look something like this:

  1. Copy the Entrust SSL Certificate to your clipboard. You must include the "----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----" and "-----END CERTIFICATE-----" lines.

  2. Paste the Entrust SSL Certificate into a text editor such as Notepad, and ensure that the entire text is flushed to the left with no leading or trailing white space.

  3. DO NOT INSTALL BY DOUBLE-CLICKING on the Entrust SSL Certificate

  4. Launch the Microsoft Internet Services Manager:
       Select Start /Programs/ Administrative Tools/ Internet Services Manager

  5. Select and right-click your Web site from the left preview pane.

  6. Select Properties.

  7. Select Server Certificate from the Secure Communications menu.

    The Web Server Certificate Wizard appears.

  8. Select Next.

  9. Select Process the pending request and install the Entrust SSL Certificate.

  10. Supply the Path and file name of the file that contains your Entrust SSL Certificate.

  11. Select Next

  12. Specify the SSL port, enter 443

  13. Review the Certificate Summary.

  14. Select Next

  15. Select Finish to complete the certificate installation.

You have just installed your Entrust SSL Certificate. You may safely close the Properties page and enable SSL on secure your Web Server.

Select OK to close the Properties page.
