Launch the Microsoft Management Console (MMC):
Select Start /Programs/ Windows NT.0 Option Pack/ Microsoft Internet Information Server/ Internet Service Manager.

Expand your web server by selecting '+'.

Select the Virtual Directory you wish to secure. Right-click and select Properties.

Select Edit from the Secure Communications area.

Select Require Secure Channel when accessing this resource.

Select Do not accept Client Certificates.

Select OK.

Select OK.

You have now enabled a Virtual Directory to require and accept SSL connections.

You must stop and start your web server for the security changes to be implemented.
