- Complete the Entrust registration process. When you have received your CA root certificate and the signed server certificate from Entrust.net, request that you get the same certificates in binary form.
- When you have received your CA root certificate and signed server certificate in binary form from Entrust.net, save the files to a directory on your WAP server.
- Start the Columbitech WAP Connector configuration applet and go to the Security tab, then press the "Certificates..." button.
- Choose the CA Certificates tab and press "Import..." button. Find the CA certificate file you received from Entrust.net and press the "Open" button. Now a CA Certificate should appear as installed.

- Choose the Server Certificates tab and press "Import..." button. Find the signed server certificate file you received from Entrust.net and press the "Open" button. Now a server certificate should appear as installed.

- You have now successfully installed both a CA root certificate and a signed server certificate to be used by the Columbitech WAP Connector WAP server. Before launching the WAP service, make sure the WAP devices have a corresponding Entrust.net CA root certificate installed. If not, the CA certificate may be downloaded to the device when the file is made available on the WAP server. Please note that this is not a requirement, but is certainly recommended to maximize convenience and security when using WTLS Class 2-3 WAP communication.
