SC Magazine "Best Buy"
For the second year in a row, the Entrust IdentityGuard versatile authentication platform is named SC Magazine's "Best Buy" in the publication's multifactor authenticator group test. SC Magazine found the solution to be a "full offering, well priced" that is "nicely automated" and "very easy to use." With no listed weaknesses it concluded that Entrust IdentityGuard "delivers true, layered multifactor identity and authentication management.

SC Magazine Awards 2011 Finalist
Entrust IdentityGuard was named a finalist in the 2011 SC Magazine's 'Best Multifactor Product' category. Entrust IdentityGuard was named as premiere solutions in the Reader Trust Award competition, which honors best-in-class security products and services. The annual SC Awards showcase the best solutions, services and professionals while recognizing achievement and technical excellence.

Entrust Managed Services was selected as a finalist in SC Magazine's 'Best Managed Security Services' category in 2011 SC Magazine Awards. Entrust PKI Managed Services was selected from hundreds of entries submitted in more than 31 technology categories. Entrust was recognized as Computerworlds 2009 'Top Green-IT Organizations'. Entrust's conservation efforts were introduced over two years ago and have reduced power consumption by 40%. SC Magazine Recommended
Entrust, Inc., and the award-winning versatile authentication platform, Entrust IdentityGuard, earned five stars and a "recommended" rating in the February 2009 SC Magazine authentication group test. In SC Magazine's review, Entrust IdentityGuard 9.1 received a five-star overall rating and was hailed as a "nicely integrated platform that provides all the options needed for any small to large enterprise deployment." The group review, which compared products from 11 vendors, evaluated authentication solutions on the merits of features, ease of use, performance, documentation, support and value for the money.

CODiE
Entrust, Inc. risk-based authentication solution was named as a finalist in the Best Security Solution category in the Software & Information Industry Association's (SIIA) 24th Annual CODiE Awards. Recognizing that different transactions carry varying levels of risk, Entrust's risk-based authentication solution enables organizations to increase the strength of authentication based on the real-time risk of customer behavior, rather than forcing all users to authenticate based on a static policy. Info Security Best Deployment — Authentication: Bank of New Zealand
Other two-factor authentication options were considered, but the Bank of New Zealand chose the Entrust IdentityGuard versatile authentication platform based on its ease of use, mobility and convenience for customers. An added bonus was the significantly lower cost-per-user, which helped enable the bank to provide the re-branded grid access card, NetGuard, free of charge.

Info Security Best Deployment — Security Solution for Finance: Banco Santander
Banco Santander, the first Latin American Bank to implement Entrust IdentityGuard, chose to start with grid card authentication, which it branded the "Super Clave."

The bank initially purchased 260,000 Entrust IdentityGuard licenses but planed to expand its Super Clave user base to 600,000 within the next few years. Prior to Entrust's solution, the bank used a two-password system, but now leverages strong authentication to protect the integrity of transactions (e.g., money transfers).

The Santander Group also has banks in Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia and Brazil. In the future, the banks may choose to add token support via the Entrust IdentityGuard versatile authentication platform.

Info Security Best Deployment — Public Key Infrastructure: Credit Suisse
Credit Suisse Group's main focus when choosing the Entrust solution was to achieve more effective authentication of internal users. The Entrust Entelligence Desktop Manager solution authenticates internal users against Web servers and a large number of other business applications. As a result, it is no longer necessary for these applications to include login security and password management, meaning that new applications can now be developed and deployed more quickly.
