Cisco ASA: Windows XP users using IE cannot connect

Issue:

Users receive error: "Connection attempt has failed. Please try again" when trying to connect to the VPN on Windows XP using Cisco AnyConnect, when trying to browse to the VPN login site using IE on Windows XP the users receive a page cannot be displayed

Resolution:

Cisco ASA needs to have either 3DES-SHA1 or RC4-SHA1 Algorithm enabled to be able to support Windows XP users, Windows XP does not support the AES Algorithm
