TN 7561 - Installation of Chain Certificate into Deerfield WebSite Pro 3.1

Question:

How do I install a chain certificate in Deerfield WebSite Pro 3.1?

Answer:

To install the Entrust L1B Chain Certificate in your web server you should;

  • Click on Key Ring tab

  • Click on "Show Trusted Roots"

  • Click on the button "Add Trusted Roots"

  • Search for your chain.pem file and select

  • The Entrust L1B Chain Certificate can be found within the pickup URL page.

  • A message may appear "A trusted root with this distinguised name already exists in your key ring file
    Check to see if you really want to replace it with the one you are trying to add. If you really want to replace it, delete the old one first, the add the new one."

  • Ignore the warning and Choose OK
