TN 7553 - Installation of Chain Certificate into Lotus Domino R5

Question:

How do I install a chain certificate in Lotus Domino R5?

Answer:

To install the Entrust L1B Chain Certificate in your web server you should;

1. Open the confirmation email you received from Entrust.
2. Click on the link to the certificate retrieval page on the Entrust Web site.
3. Select the certificate in the Entrust L1B Chain Certificate section. You must include the "----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----" and "----END CERTIFICATE----" lines, and copy it to the clipboard.
4. Open the Server Certificate Administration application on your Domino Web server.
5. Select the 3. Install Trusted Root Certificate into Key Ring option.
6. Enter "Entrust L1B Chain Certificate" (without the quotes) as the Certificate Name.
7. Select Clipboard in the Certificate Source section.
8. Paste the Entrust Chain Certificate from the Clipboard to the Certificate field.
9. Click the Merge Trusted Root Certificate into Key Ring button.
