Entrust Datacard

The Future of Cryptography

Entrust provides today's innovative organizations the opportunity to test their applications and services with advanced elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) digital certificates. To help promote the deployment and use of ECC-based certificates, Entrust offers complimentary samples of operational certificates and identities.

Follow the simple process and you'll be able to test different types of ECC digital certificates, including SSL server certificates and S/MIME certificates.

What is ECC?

Elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) is a family of public-key algorithms that can provide shorter key lengths and, depending upon the operating platform and the applications for which they are used, may provide improved performance over systems based on integer factorization and discrete logarithms. In fact, ECC certificates are now compatible with the full suite of Entrust Authority solutions.
